The growing complexity of technical systems and the demand for overall networks makes sensor/actuator busses more and more important. A modern sensor/actuator bus must be low-cost, realtime-capable, good protected against bit errors, must support fault-tolerance structures and - e.g. to ignite airbags - must allow high baudrates. The concept for the sensor/actuator bus TTP/A meets this requirements: TTP/A is low-cost, realtime-capable, efficient in transmission, scalable, open for innovations, safety, based on components of the shelf and has a standard data interface. This thesis introduce a solution-strategy for the basic protocol of TTP/A and extend it with a redundancy-concept for reliable systems and a new tdma-scheme (carrier sense tdma).
