Fracture-liaison-services (FLS) aim at the secondary prevention of osteoporotic fractures. However, in Germany FLS have rarely been implemented and long-term data from Germany are few. A cohort of 191 participants in a FLS intervention in the osteoporosis outpatient clinic at TUM was followed up for up to 3 years. The rate of patients on treatment had increased from 21,2 % to 41,4 %, with a persistence of 82,6 %. The refracture rate was 24,1 % (average: 8 %/year). FLS may be a measure to reduce the treatment gap in Germany.
