Abstract:

Translated abstract:
Hybrid material joints often represent the bottleneck of multi-material design. Mechanical surrogate models of hybrid material joints allow to integrate their stiffness as well as deformation and failure behavior as a substitute in the virtual CAE development process. The thesis at hand contributes to a systematic development of such surrogate models based on a comprehensive characterization and modelling of the base materials such as metallic sheets as well as a textile reinforced thermoplastic.
