Description:
Cloud datacenter to user connectivity dataset collected over RIPE Atlas. The dataset accompanies research article “Pruning Edge Research with Latency Shears” accepted at ACM HotNets 2020
Method of data assessment:
The dataset includes PING measurements from 3200+ RIPE ATLAS probes to 98 datacenters of seven major cloud providers, i.e. Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Digital Ocean, Linode, Alibaba and Vultr. The data collection lasted from September 2019 to January 2020.
