The objective of this study was to evaluate the image degrading factors in quantitative 177Lu SPECT imaging. Overall, we found that for an accurate quantitative 177Lu SPECT imaging, the size of the calibration phantom should be considered at the calibration process. There is a considerable influence of the attenuation map, scatter correction method, and scatter window width on the SPECT/CT calibration reproducibility. Due to overlapping, special care needs to be taken in organ delineation if planar images are used for dose calculation.
