As the majority of the world’s population spends a significant portion of their lives in a working environment, the quality of future indoor office spaces becomes crucial to our well-being.
The master course “The Office | Das Büro” investigates experimental working environments aiming to develop conceptual strategies to increase local social comfort and individual wellbeing within office spaces by adopting a human-centric approach. Seven student projects design the spaces in between the furniture and the building scale, within the direct sphere of influence of the users, to activate the environmental parameters associated with comfort, work efficiency and user satisfaction.
