The thesis describes the development of a plasma-aided process for the dry-chemical separation of U and Mo based on a difference in vapor pressure of their corresponding hexafluorides as well as a difference in their dissociation behavior under near-UV irradiation. The effectiveness of CO as a fluorine scavenger has been investigated for different states of matter. Field of application is the production of Mo-99/Tc-99m. In addition, the effectiveness of the system for the preparation of the hexafluorides of Re, Os, Ir as well as high-valent fluorides of Ru, Rh and Pt was subject of investigation.
