The purpose of this study was to compare indocyanine enhanced fluorescence optical imaging (ICG-FOI) with contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging regarding the detection of inflammatory processes in the hands of patients with psoriatic arthritis. For the first time, a quantitative and qualitative perfusion analysis of indocyanine-enhanced fluorescence-optical imaging was performed in a psoriatic arthritis collective. Furthermore, the influence of the psoriatic skin signal on the fluorescence optical imaging was evaluated.
