Abstract:
This is the first meta-analysis paper from the Biodiversity Exploratory research project that analyses the effects of increasing land use intensity in grasslands on a variety of taxa. Our research group contributed data of eight out of 18 taxonomic groups analysed, was strongly involved in the characterisation (e.g. land use, soil analysis) and selection of sites. The analysis shows with increasing land use most biodiversity is lost very early on, in the transition from very extensive to more in...     »
