- Die onkolytische Virotherapie stellt ein vielversprechendes Therapiekonzept für das Blasenkarzinom dar. Die Replikation unserer onkolytischen Adenoviren ist von der nukleären Lokalisation des multifunktionalen Onkoproteins YB-1 abhängig. Beim Blasenkarzinom korreliert die YB-1-Expression mit der Invasivität, dem Tumorstadium und der Prognose. - Oncolytic virotherapy is a promising concept to treat bladder cancer. The replication of our oncolytic adenovirus depends on the nuclear localization of the multifunctional oncoprotein YB-1. In bladder cancer high YB-1 expression is associated with tumor growth, invasion and decreased overall survival.
