In our current retrospective study, we conducted long-term follow-up of patients with congenital left ventricular outflow tract obstruction (LVOTO) who were treated at the German Heart Centre Munich. Altogether, LVOTO surgery is associated with relatively low mortality and good hemodynamic outcomes, which are comparable to the results published in the current literature. The operative strategy, the timing of the operation, the frequency and the risk factors for mortality and reoperations, are dependent on the type and anatomical level of LVOTO.
