Abstract:
A large proportion of the scientific basis of agricultural engineering is still available today exclusively in analog form.
Only a digitalization can preserve this knowledge from a possible final loss for the future.
With the AgTecCollection, a successful project was generated that
comprehensively documents the development of agricultural technology.
The metadata now available as Big Data opens up a wide range of new
possibilities.
First and foremost, digital twins could be used to quickly and easily adapt the available digital knowledge to regional requirements.
