The impact of the medical tutorial “Suffering and death – my workaday life” was investigated using specific dilemma-situations. Therefore, written dilemma-analysis of participators before and after intervention and those of a control group were evaluated and compared by performing qualitative content analysis based on criteria of wisdom-related knowledge.
A need of encouragement of wisdom-related competences in medical students was shown. The results suggest a broad positive effect of the intervention, confirmed by throughout positive evaluation of the participating students.
