Nach den bisherigen Erkenntnissen entspricht der Tretmiststall weitestgehend den Ansprüchen der Rinder. Allerdings ist für die Durchsetzung dieses Stalles auf breiter Basis entscheidend, wie hoch der Arbeitszeitbedarf und der Strohbedarf und der Mistanfall sind. Diese Daten sind bereits für die Planung wichtig.
Es sind grundsätzlich verschiedene Varianten des Tretmiststalles möglich. Für die Milchviehhaltung ist aber nur der Zweiraum-Tretmiststall empfehlenswert. Der einzelne Zweiraum-Tretmiststall kann verschieden aufgebaut sein, z. B. kann ein Laufhof angeordnet sein. Es bieten sich außerdem verschiedene Verfahren für die Einstreu und Entmistung an.
Für die Einstreumenge schwanken die Literaturangaben für Milchvieh von 2,5 bis 6,0 kg je Tier und Tag. Beim Jungvieh bewegen sie sich in einem noch weiteren Bereich.
Zum Mistanfall sind speziell für den Tretmiststall kaum Daten vorhanden. Allerdings sind einige Untersuchungen über den Exkrementanfall oder den Mistanfall in anderen Stallsystemen bekannt, von denen auf den Anfall von unverrottetem Mist geschlossen werden kann. Der Mistanfall kann auch berechnet werden. Allerdings ist nicht bekannt, in welchem Ausmaß bereits im Tretmiststall eine Rotte stattfindet, also bereits dort die Masse reduziert wird.
Beim Arbeitszeitaufwand sind die Angaben in der Literatur in der Regel kaum detailliert. Nur 2 Autoren machen genauere Angaben, die aber speziell für den Bereich der Milchviehhaltung noch ergänzungsbedürftig sind.
Daher wurden auf 3 verschiedenen Betrieben Messungen der Strohmengen, des Mistanfalls und des Arbeitszeitaufwands gemacht. Es wurde ein geschlossener Tretmiststall mit 23 Milchkühen, einem Zuchtbullen und 12 Jungrindern, ein weiterer geschlossener Tretmiststall mit 44 Milchkühen und ein Offenfront-Tretmiststall mit 25 Kühen und 21 Jungrindern untersucht.
Die Einstreu- und Entmistungsverfahren waren unterschiedlich. In zwei Betrieben wurde mit jeweils unterschiedlich gebauten Ballenauflösern gearbeitet, ein Betrieb streute von Hand ein. Die Entmistung erfolgte auf zwei Betrieben mit einem Faltschieber. Dabei wurde der Mist in Abständen von drei bis fünf Tagen mit einem Schlepper oder Radlader umgesetzt. Auf dem dritten Betrieb wurde mit dem Schlepper entmistet und der Mist vom Laufhof mit einem Handschieber aufgeschoben.
Die gewogenen Einstreumengen lagen mit 2,6 bis 6,0 kg Stroh/GV und Tag im Bereich der Literaturangaben. Das Stroh hatte auf allen Betrieben einen durchschnittlichen Trockensubstanzgehalt von ca. 88 %. Zusätzlich wurden auf einem Betrieb ca. 1,7 kg Basaltmehl/GV eingestreut. Für das Strohlager werden aufgrund der gemessenen Einstreumengen je nach Aufbereitung des Strohs zwischen 7 und 26 m3 je Tier und Jahr benötigt.
Die Messung der Mistmenge erfaßte starke Schwankungen im Bereich von ca. 30 kg/GV und Tag bis zu ca. 80 kg/GV und Tag. Diese Schwankungen ließen sich v.a. auf rindernde Tiere und den jahreszeitlich bedingten den Mistabbau im Frühjahr zurückführen. Die Literaturangaben zum Mistanfall sind überwiegend niedriger. Bei den Trockensubstanz- und Dichteuntersuchungen konnte ein Einfluß des Stallsystems und der Einstreumenge gefunden werden. Eine hohe Einstreumenge bedingt einen hohen Trockensubstanzgehalt und eine geringe Dichte. Das gleiche kann durch einen Laufhof und einen Offenfrontstall erreicht werden.
Hinweise auf einen bereits im Stall eingetretenen Masseverlust durch Rotte konnten nicht gefunden werden. Der Einfluß der Rotte auf den Gesamtmistanfall ist allerdings nicht besonders hoch, da laut der Literatur die meisten Exkremente nicht auf der Liegefläche anfallen und wegen der ständigen Belastung durch die Tiere die mikrobielle Aktivität auf der Liegefläche gehemmt ist. Der Umfang der vorliegenden Untersuchungen reicht nicht aus, um den Umfang einer Rotte im Stall zu quantifizieren.
Aufgrund der ermittelten Werte liegt der Lagerraumbedarf für den Mist zwischen 0,06 und 0,09 m3 je Kuh und Tag. Allerdings ist eine größere Stichprobe und die Berücksichtigung der Rotte im Dungstapel nötig, um verläßliche Aussagen treffen zu können.
Die Zeitmessungen erfolgten mit einer Stoppuhr mit Schleppzeiger. In der Regel wurde die Messung mit Hilfe eines Tonbandes protokolliert. Aus den Meßwerten wurden Planzeiten gebildet, die teilweise durch Planzeiten aus LISL ersetzt wurden. Aus diesen Planzeiten wurden Modelle erstellt, die den Ergebnissen der Ist-Analyse sehr nahe kamen.
Der Arbeitszeitbedarf für das Einstreuen schwankte zwischen 0,3 und 0,9 AKmin pro GV und Tag, bzw. 1,95 und 5,48 AKh/GV und Jahr. Der Betrieb, auf dem manuell eingestreut wurde, wies den geringsten Arbeitszeitbedarf auf.
Beim Entmisten wurden 0,2 bis 0,6 AKmin je GV und Tag bzw. 1,22 bis 3,71 AKmin je GV und Jahr benötigt. Der Betrieb mit Frontladerentmistung und Laufhof hatte einen deutlich höheren Arbeitszeitaufwand als die beiden anderen Betriebe.
Der Vergleich mit der Literatur zeigt, daß eine sehr große Verfahrensvielfalt vorhanden ist und die Ergebnisse dieser Untersuchung nicht ausreichen, diese große Zahl der Varianten zu beschreiben. Zur statistischen Absicherung vieler Planzeiten sind noch weitere Messungen erforderlich. Die Verfahrensvielfalt läßt sich dann durch entsprechende Kalkulationsmodelle berücksichtigen.
