- The data was collected through a bibliometric literature review. It included English articles from journals and conference proceedings published between 2000 and 2025. The search was performed on Scopus and Web of Science with "Title-Abstract-Keyword"-search. The query required to include the terms "urban" & "connected" & ("trade-off" | "synergy") and their synonyms. Analysis was done with VOSviewer co-occurence of author keywords. 150 keywords with the most connections were selected and manuall... »
- Beschreibung:
- This graph shows how synergies and trade-offs are represented in research on urban interactions. The line colors refer to more references either mentioning the terms (and synonyms) "synergy" or "trade-off". Line thickness refers to the number of occurences of a connection in the filtered literature (see methodology). The Citypendence Wheel is under development and the detailed methodology will be published in a follow-up paper. In its current state, it is purley based on the bibliometric literature review with no manual adjustments (Citypendence Wheel 1.0).
