Title:
Biocompatibility tests on spray coated carbon nanotube and PEDOT:PSS thin films
Abstract:
Thin films of semiconducting and unsorted carbon nanotubes (CNT) are prepared on a transparent and flexible cyclic olefin polymeric substrate. The CNT biocompatibility is analyzed using L929 mouse fibroblasts and Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells (HUVEC). Highly conductive poly (3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) films are also tested on the same substrate as an alternative conductive polymer for electrode material.
