Abstract:
The incorporation of a priori knowledge of the electrostatic and magneto-static fields into the Finite-Integral algorithm leads to higher efficiency under the condition that the numerical effort for the static field calculations is smaller than that for the conventional full-wave Finite-Integral method. In the electro-static case, the scalar potential approach allows for a fast solution. In the magneto-static case, however, the common description applies a vector potential.
