Abstract:
In this contribution a three-dimensional left-handed metamaterial is presented which is shown to be a physical implementation of the rotated TLM scheme. The key characteristics of the metamaterial in terms of dispersion relation and Bloch impedance as well as composite right/left-handed response are analysed.
