Abstract:
Gegenstand der Arbeit waren 610 Patienten, die im Zeitraum von 2001 bis 2013 am Klinikum Rechts der Isar in München kurativ an einem Magenkarzinom therapiert wurden. Dabei wurde der Einfluss perioperativer Erythrozytenkonzentrate auf Gesamt - und Rezidiv-freies Überleben, sowie Risikofaktoren für Transfusionen untersucht. Die Gabe von Blutprodukten zeigte einen signifikanten negativen Einfluss auf das Gesamtüberleben, jedoch nicht auf das krankheitsfreie Überleben.

Object of this study were 610 patients who received curative therapy of their gastric cancer at the surgical department Technische Universitaet Muenchen from 2001 to 2013. The influence of perioperative erythrocyte concentrates on overall and relapse free survival as well as risk factors for receiving transfusions was examined. Administering blood products was significantly associated with lower overall survival but did not influence relapse free survival.
