Der Mu.S.I.C. (Musical Sounds in Cochlear Implants)Test wurde zur Testung der Musikwahrnehmung von Cochlear implantierten Patienten entwickelt. Viele Teilaspekte der Musikwahrnehmung sind jedoch bisher bei Normalhörenden noch wenig oder nicht untersucht worden. Studien im Bereich der Cochlear Implant Forschung sind häufig internationale Multicenterstudien. In dieser Arbeit wurden daher die Musikhörfähigkeiten deutscher und englischer Normalhörender mit dem Mu.S.I.C. Test verglichen. Es konnten keine wesentlichen Unterschiede zwischen den beiden Kollektiven gefunden werden.
