In this study, the influence of diclofenac on osteoblasts and their adhesion process on surfaces was examined. The question was wether diclofenac has a dose dependant influence on the metabolism and adhesion process of osteoblasts. Moreover, it should be shown whether the impact of diclofenac on the cells is different depending on whether the cells have already adhered or not. Thus, it should be analyzed, if the point of time of diclofenac application is crucial. Furthermore, the morphology of the osteoblasts influenced by diclofenac was illustrated by scanning electron microscope images and the adhesion process was followed in real time.
