Die vorliegende Arbeit setzt sich mit der Problematik und dem Schicksal ungewollter Kinder von der Antike bis zur Neuzeit auseinander. Neben den historischen Voraussetzungen werden schwerpunktmäßig die Einrichtungen der Stadt München anhand von Archivalien untersucht. Besondere Bedeutung finden die Münchener Gebär- und Findelstube, die zum Ausgang des Mittelalters gegründet wurden, sowie das Kostkinderwesen, die Säuglingsberatungsstellen und Milchküchen des 19. und 20. Jahrhunderts. Abschließend werden das heutige Angebot der Babyklappe und die Möglichkeit der anonymen Geburt erläutert und kritisch beurteilt. Trotz vielfältiger Angebote ist eine dauerhafte und befriedigende Lösung bis zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt nicht möglich.     «

This article deals with the problems and the faith of unwanted children, from the beginning of history up to modern times. Besides the historical premises, this article focuses mainly on the facilities of the City of Munich with the help of the city archives. The article deals with the foundling home and maternity ward, founded at the end of the Middle Age in Munich, as well as with child fostering, the counselors for new-born and the "milk kitchen" in the 19th and 20th century. Finally, the article shows today's offer of baby drop boxes and the possibilities of anonymous childbirth with a critical approach. Today, there are many offers, but a durable and satisfactory solution is not yet possible.     «
