- Abstract:
- In dieser Arbeit wurde eine Enzym-Toolbox von 96 Enzymen für den Abbau von Hemicellulose (Xylan, Glucomannan) und die Herstellung von Oligosacchariden untersucht. Die Enzyme wurden biochemisch charakterisiert und Methoden für die analytische und präparative Auftrennung von Oligosaccharidfraktionen mit möglichen Anwendungen als präbiotische Zusatzstoffe in Lebens- oder Futtermitteln entwickelt.

- In this thesis, a toolbox of 96 enzymes for the degradation of hemicellulose (xylan, glucomannan) and production of oligosaccharides was investigated. The enzymes were characterized biochemically, and methods for the analytical and preparative separation of oligosaccharide fractions that may have potential applications as prebiotic food or feed additives were developed.
