Abstract:

Translated abstract:
Reflection is discussed as an effecting mechanism in behavioral and cognitive changes. This study aimed first at finding valid and reliable operationalisations for reflection processes and second at, evaluating results of the reflection training explication of implicit knowledge. The results of the measuring procedures using content analyses and behavior observation show reliable and valid operationalisations of different reflection components and suggest the measurement of predominately state reflection. For reflection quality on action there was found in the pre-post-experimental-controlgroup-design with 37 nurses an enhancement in inexperienced and not in experienced, as well in the control group. The results using analyses of individual cases as well show the potential of the explication of implicit knowledge to elicitate considerable cognitive and affective reflection processes. Follow-up studies and the further conceptional development of the treatment as a training method in ongoing education are recommended.
