- Abstract:
- Weichteilsarkome stellen eine seltene, jedoch sehr heterogene Gruppe maligner Tumore dar. Neben der chirurgischen Resektion des Tumors bildet die Strahlentherapie eine zentrale Säule im Therapiekonzept. Es ist jedoch bis dato fraglich, ob hierfür die neoadjuvante oder adjuvante Bestrahlung des Tumors besser geeignet ist. Ziel der Arbeit war es, den existierenden Datensatz an Studien zu dieser Thematik zu ergänzen und gegebenenfalls eine Empfehlung aussprechen zu können.

- Soft tissue sarcomas are a rare, but heterogenic group of malignant tumours. Besides the surgical resection of the tumour, radiotherapy presents a central role within the therapeutic concept. Until today it is uncertain if the preoperative or postoperative timing of radiation of the tumour is the better choice for survival of the patient.
