Abstract:
In dieser Promotionsarbeit wurde zunächst der zlog-Wert von NT-proBNP (abgekürzt zlog-NT-proBNP) als altersbereinigter Referenzwert eingeführt, um die stark altersabhängigen Referenzintervalle dieses Biomarkers zu standardisieren (analog zu einem normalen Z-Wert) . Translated abstract:
In this doctoral thesis, the zlog value of NT-proBNP (abbreviated zlog-NT-proBNP) was introduced as an age-adjusted reference to standardize the highly age-dependent reference intervals of this biomarker in a similar way as by means of a common z-score. Thereafter, the prognostic power of zlog-NT-proBNP for the occurrence of major adverse cardiovascular events throughout childhood in patients with congenital heart diseases was investigated.
