- Bei 2417 Prostatakrebspatienten deutschlandweit wurde die Prävalenz von Progredienzangst (PA) mittels eines Fragebogens zu zwei Zeitpunkten T1 2010 (6,4%), im Durchschnitt 7,3 Jahre nach Operation, und zu T2 2019 (8,4%) erhoben. Zu beiden Zeitpunkten hatten 3,2% PA. Prädiktoren für PA an T2 waren ein Rezidiv bis T1, eine laufende Therapie zu T2, eine niedrige Schulbildung, eine vorbestehende PA zu T1 und psychologische Faktoren (positives Screening auf Angst und Depression) (p<0,05)

- Fear of progression (FoP) was surveyed among 2417 prostate cancer patients in Germany using a questionnaire in 2010 (T1), on average 7.3 years after surgery and a second time in 2019 (T2). At T1 6.4% had FoP, at T2 8.4% and at both time points 3.2%. Predictors for FoP in 2019 were a biochemical recurrence until T1, a current therapy at T2, a low level of education, a preexisting FoP at T1, and certain psychological characteristics (positive screening for anxiety and depression) (p<0.05)
