- A20 ist ein Inhibitor des zentralen Transkriptionsfaktors NF-kB. Die Arbeit zeigt, dass A20 T-Zellen vor dem Zelltod schützt und eine übermäßige Sekretion proinflammatorischer Zytokine verhindert. Darüberhinaus begrenzt A20 die Differenzierung regulatorischer T-Zellen im Thymus über einen zellintrinsischen Mechanismus. In Abwesenheit von A20 in CD4+ T-Zellen kommt es zu einem gesteigerten Anteil regulatorischer T-Zellen in einem murinen konditionalen Knockout, die Funktionalität der Zellen bleib... »
- Translated abstract:
- A20 is an inhibitor of the central transcription factor NF-kB. This study shows that A20 can protect T cells from cell death and an excessive production of proinflammatory cytokines. Moreover A20 limits the differentiation of regulatory T cells in the thymus through a cellintrinsic mechanism. In the absence of A20 there is an increased percentage of regulatory T cells in a murine conditional knockout without a negative impact on the functionality of these cells in vitro and in vivo.
