Bei 15 Speerwerfern (durchschnittliches Alter: 17,7 Jahre) und 16 Volleyballspielern (durchschnittliches Alter: 16,9 Jahre) wurde ein klinischer und bildmorphologischer Querschnittsbefund asymptomatischer, jugendlicher Hochleistungsathleten erhoben. 15 javelin throwers (average age: 17,7 years) and 16 volleyball players (average age: 16,9 years) were evaluated by clinical and radiologic point evaluation. All participants were adolescent, asymptomatic elite atheletes. Changes in Range of Motion (Glenohumeral Internal Rotation Deficit) and relevant changes in magnetic resonance imaging (intraosseous cysts and intraarticular ganglion cysts) could be detected, whereas clinical testing of the shoulder and scapula were unaltered.
