- Abstract:
- In this project, we combined the oncolytic Adenovirus XVir-N-31 with small molecule inhibitors to improve oncolytic virotherapy in bladder cancer (BC). CDK4/6 but not Chk1 inhibitors greatly enhanced viral replication and particle production independent of the viral E1 region nor the two E2F1 binding sites in the viral E2 early promoter. Thus, combination of XVir-N-31 with CDK4/6 inhibitors greatly enhanced oncolytic virotherapy thereby providing a new therapy approach for patients with BC.

- In diesem Projekt wurde das onkolytische Adenovirus XVir-N-31 mit small molecule Inhibitoren kombiniert, um eine onkolytische Virotherapie im Blasenkarzinom zu verbessern. CDK4/6, aber nicht Chk1, Inhibitoren steigerten die virale Replikation und Partikelbildung, unabhängig von der viralen E1 Region oder den E2F1 Bindestellen im viralen E2 early Promoter. Die Kombination von XVir-N-31 mit CDK4/6 Inhibitoren stellt daher einen neuen Therapieansatz für Patienten mit Blasenkarzinom dar.
