Einleitung: Die vorliegende Studie liefert mittelfristige Ergebnisse bei Patienten nach Mitralklappenrekonstruktion (MKP) mit dem Medtronic Profile 3D™ Annuloplastiering bei degenerativer MI. Material und Methoden: Zwischen 06/2009 und 06/2011 wurden retrospektiv 200 Patienten untersucht, die im Deutschen Herzzentrum München bei schwerer degenerativer MI eine MKP mit dem Medtronic Profile 3D™ Annuloplastiering erhalten haben. Ergebnisse: Das mittlere Follow-up beträgt 2.5±0.5 Jahre. Das Überleben und die Freiheit von Reoperation beträgt nach 3 Jahren 94.9±1.6 bzw. 96.4±1.3%. Bei 93.1% der Patienten (n=148) zeigt sich im Follow-up Zeitraum eine maximal milde MI. Diskussion: Mit sehr guten postoperativen Ergebnissen ist der dreidimensionale Medtronic Profile 3D™-Ring für eine MKP bei degenerativen Erkrankungen geeignet.      «

Introduction: The present study provides medium-term results in patients with degenerative MI after a mitral valve reconstruction (MKP) with the Medtronic Profile 3D™ annuloplasty ring. Material and methods: Between 06/2009 and 06/2011, 200 patients with severe degenerative MI who received an MKP with the Medtronic Profile 3D™ annuloplasty ring were retrospectively examined at the German Heart Center in Munich. Results: The mean follow-up is 2.5 ± 0.5 years. The survival and freedom from reoperation is 94.9 ± 1.6 and 96.4 ± 1.3% after 3 years. In 93.1% of the patients (n = 148) mild MI, at most, was found in the follow-up period. Discussion: The very good post-operative results show that the three-dimensional Medtronic Profile 3D™ ring is suitable for MKP in degenerative diseases.     «
