In the current study, KLK9 and KLK10 expression in tumor tissue of patients afflicted with advanced high-grade serous ovarian (HGSOC) and triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), respectively, was investigated. Together with available KLK11 and KLK15 data in the identical cohorts, coordinate expression was observed between KLK10/KLK11 (and between KLK9/KLK15). Moreover, while elevated KLK10 levels represent an independent favorable prognostic marker in HGSOC, elevated KLK10 expression was independently related with worse prognosis.
