This monocentric observational study with biosample collection investigated causes, extent, and consequences of pediatric, post-infectious myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome. Functional disability, severity of fatigue, quality of life, symptoms, orthostatic intolerance, and social data showed significantly impaired, medically underserved patients. Concepts were developed for the expansion of multidisciplinary acute care and rehabilitation centers, research projects, medical education and training, and the education of schools, politics, and the public.     «
