Das Ziel der folgenden Untersuchung war die Evaluation der PNAM anhand der Vermessungen von digitalen intra- und extraoralen Modellen im Vergleich zu konventionellen Modellen 2 Jahre nach Neueinführung der Methode am Klinikum rechts der Isar. Mit Hilfe des PNAM ist eine statistisch signifikante Veränderung des Abstands der Alveolarkämme und Lippensegmente, der Höhe der Nasenflügel, der Nasenbreite, der Länge des Nasenstegs, als auch des Winkels des Nasenstegs und der Prämaxilla zu beobachten. Die digitale Vermessung ist der händischen Vermessung überlegen.     «

The aim of the following study was the evaluation of PNAM based on the measurements of digital intra - and extraoral models compared to conventional plaster models two years after introduction of the method at the Klinikum rechts der Isar. With the help of PNAM a statistically significant benefit in narrowing the alveolar ridges and lip segments can be achieved. Also we could observe improvement of the height of the nostril, the nose width, the length and angle of the nose ridge and the angle of the premaxilla. The digital measurement is superior to the manual measurement.     «
