Patienten erleiden durch Unfälle nicht nur verschiedene Arten von Verletzungen, sondern können auch Veränderungen in ihrer Immunantwort aufweisen. In dieser Arbeit werden die Auswirkung von Trauma auf CD 4 + Th17 Zellen, CD4+ regulatorischen T-Zellen und Thrombozyten untersucht. Besonderes Augenmerk wird dabei auf das Oberflächenmolekül CD 44 gelegt. Weiterhin erfolgte die Analyse der Auswirkung eines schweren Schädelhirntraumas auf oben genannte Zelltypen. Die Aussicht dieser Arbeit soll ein besseres Verständnis für die posttraumatische Immunantwort von verletzten Patienten liefern und so zukünftig zur Optimierung der Therapie derer führen.      «

Patients not only suffer various types of injuries due to accidents, but may also show changes in their immune response. In this study, the effect of trauma on CD 4 + Th17 cells, CD4+ regulatory T cells and platelets is investigated. Particular attention is paid to the surface molecule CD 44. Furthermore, the effects of severe traumatic brain injury on the above-mentioned cell types were analyzed. The prospect of this work should provide a better understanding of the post-traumatic immune response of injured patients and thus lead to the optimization of their therapy in the future.     «
