The present scientific paper examines cooperation of learning venues in the vocational training of home economists in Bavaria. It also examines the role played by aspects of digitalization and digital transformation. Within a qualitative study, n=6 participants were interviewed in the period from October 17 - 27, 2021 on the basis of guiding questions on the subjective understanding, the current and future design and conditions for suc-cess of cooperation of learning venues. Furthermore, questions were asked about coop-eration’s content and media, the network of cooperation and competencies, which are particularly developed through learning location cooperation. The methodology followed the procedure of qualitative content analysis according to Mayring (2019), whereby the data material was evaluated on the basis of the current state of research through a de-ductively derived category system. Specifically, a broad home economics cooperation network emerges, although the respondents' subjective understanding of cooperation of learning venues is limited to the venues school and company. Cooperation contacts take place mostly sporadically and problem-induced, for mutual information. However, home economics cooperation of learning venues is also found on educational theory based level. In this context, the competencies of "classic home economics" are of primary im-portance. At present, digitization and aspects of digital transformation, including the use of collaboration tool, play a subordinate role. There is a strong desire to intensify coop-eration of home economics learning venues, as well as for social recognition of the pro-fession.
