- Ziel dieser Arbeit ist die Analyse von prätherapeutischen 18F-FDG-PET/CT basierten Bildparametern hinsichtlich ihrer Eignung als Prädiktoren für das Gesamtüberleben und das histopathologische Ansprechen auf eine neoadjuvante Radiochemotherapie bei Patienten mit ösophagealen Plattenepithelkarzinomen. Es handelt sich um eine retrospektive Studie mit insgesamt 38 Patienten. Die Auswertung der Daten zeigt, dass Heterogenitätsparameter statistisch signifikant das Gesamtüberleben vorhersagen können.

- The aim of this thesis is to analyse clinical factors and image parameters derived from pre-therapeutic 18F-FDG-PET/CT imaging as predictors of overall survival and histopathologic response to neoadjuvant chemoradiation in patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. It is a retrospective study with a total of 38 cases. In summary, image parameters based on tumor heterogeneity are independent predictors of overall survival.
