The data was measured in the scope of the study described in Manuel Rubio Gómez, Sebastian Ludwig, Philipp Jocher, Alexander Frank, Yaroslava Fedoryshyna, and Andreas Jossen: A Novel Pulse Resistance based Thermal Runaway Early Detection Approach for Lithium-Ion and Sodium-Ion Batteries.
Beschreibung:
This dataset contains voltage, current, calculated RDC, and temperature data for three battery technologies: LIB-NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt), LIB-LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate), and SIB (Sodium-ion Battery). The data were collected from two experiments designed to characterize the relationship between a battery's internal temperature and its RDC under conditions exceeding the safety temperature limits. Moreover, the dataset also includes videos corresponding to the thermal runaway tests.
