- Der globale enddiastolische Volumenindex GEDVI ist ein durch transpulmonale Thermodilution (TPTD) ermittelter Parameter der Vorlast. Die Verwendung eines femoralen führt gegenüber dem Goldstandard des jugulären zentralvenösen Katheters zu einer Überschätzung des GEDVI. In einer früheren Studie wurde eine Korrekturformel ermittelt, die mittlerweile im PiCCO-System verwandt wird, obwohl sie kaum validiert ist. Die Auswertung von 6031 TPTDs bestätigt eine effektive Korrektur durch diese Formel.
- Translated abstract:
- The global end-diastolic volume index GEDVI is a pre-load parameter determined by transpulmonary thermodilution (TPTD). The use of a femoral leads to an overestimation of the GEDVI compared to the gold standard of the jugular central venous catheter. In a previous study, a correction formula was developed, which is now used in the PiCCO system, although it is hardly validated. The evaluation of 6031 TPTDs confirms an effective correction by this formula.
