- Ziel dieser Arbeit war es, die Verwendung von retrahierbaren Nitinolstents in der Behandlung des akuten ischämischen Schlaganfalls im Bezug auf Sicherheit und Wirksamkeit anhand von 108 Rekanalisationsprozeduren, die in der neuroradiologischen Abteilung des Klinikums Rechts der Isar zwischen 03/08 und 02/10 durchgeführt wurden, retrospektiv zu evaluieren. Unsere Ergebnisse bestätigten Sicherheit und Effektivität des Solitaire Stents in der Therapie akuter intrakranieller Gefäßverschlüsse.

- The aim of our study was to show the procedural efficacy and safety of retrievable Nitinol Stents as part of our multimodal endovascular approach in the treatment of ischaemic stroke. We retrospectively evaluated all consecutive 104 patients (108 territorial occlusions) who underwent endovascular recanalization of intracranial vessel occlusion with the Solitaire stent between 03/08 and 02/10 at our stroke centre (Klinikum rechts der Isar, TU Munich).
