Mit der Gesundheitsreform in Deutschland rückt auch der Krankenhaussektor stärker in den Vordergrund der Gesundheitspolitik. Als eine der möglichen Wirkungen dieser Reform kommt der Patientenorientierung eine bedeutsame Rolle zu. Sie und ihre Verankerung im strategischen Controlling von Krankenhäusern stellen den Kern der Dissertation dar. Ziel ist es, einen idealtypischen strategischen Controllingprozess für Krankenhäuser zu entwickeln, in den krankenhausbezogene qualitative Faktoren als Ausdruck der Patientenorientierung integriert werden. Dabei wird im Speziellen auf die Unterstützungsfunktion des strategischen Controllings bei der strategischen Planung und bei der strategischen Kontrolle eingegangen.      «

With the reform of the healthsystem in Germany followed a focus on the sector of hospitals. One of the consequences was the concentration on the patient-orientation. The patient-orientation, which should be involved in the strategic controlling of hospitals, is the core of this dissertation.
