This work investigates the problem of underdetermined constraint forces in multi-body systems. Two models are set up on the basis of an example system, on which different solution strategies are tested. A physically correct behaviour of the system is the main criterion for the evaluation of the methods. In this thesis, special attention is paid to a promising method and its derivation. This method can be regarded as a good alternative to existing approaches, as concrete simulation results show. However, an ideal technique could not be identified.
