The transport sector accounts for a significant share of global CO2 emissions. The increasingly stringent environmental regulations increase the pressure on road-bound logistics service providers. Therefore, this study pursues the goal of identifying a methodology for the economic justification of electromobility for the usage at logistics service providers as well as identifying relevant influencing factors and operationalizing them. Based on this, scenario specific statements are derived regarding the degree of economic efficiency of electromobility at logistics service providers.
