Ziel der vorliegenden Thesis ist die geometrisch optimale Form einer Überdachung in verschiedenen Straßensituationen zur maximalen Reduzierung der Überhitzung des Straßenraums sowie zur simultanen optimalen energetischen Nutzung der solaren Energie auf selbiger Überdachung im öffentlichen Straßenraum des Münchner Stadt-teils Neuperlach zu ermitteln. Zu diesem Zweck werden zwölf systematisch ausge-wählte Straßenschluchten unterschiedlicher Ausrichtung, Breite sowie Höhe der flan-kierenden Bebauung repräsentativ entsprechend des thermischen Außenraumkom-forts computersimulativ untersucht. Zunächst wird die Veränderung des thermischen Komforts durch Überdachungen verschiedener Höhen analysiert. Diejenigen Über-dachungen, welche den signifikantesten Effekt zur Eindämmung der Überhitzung erzielen, werden im Anschluss entsprechend ihres Energieertrags geometrisch opti-miert. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass sich Überdachungen in einer Höhe von 4,50 Me-tern zur Reduzierung der gefühlten Temperatur im überdachten Bereich in allen Fäl-len als am effektivsten herausstellen. Der Energieertrag ist in den Bereichen mit nied-riger angrenzender Bebauung deutlich höher als bei hoher, insbesondere bei Stra-ßenschluchten auf der Nord-Süd-Achse. Die Neigung der PV-Modulreihen in die Richtung der größten Strahlungsintensität ergibt in jedem Bereich, jedoch besonders bei den Straßenschluchten mit Nord-Süd- bzw. Nordwest-Südost-Ausrichtung, eine höhere Effizienz in Bezug auf die eingesetzte Fläche.
