The results of the thesis show that norms in favor of contribution to the Paris Climate Agreement positively influence carbon offsetting, consumption of local food and green electricity. Moreover, the thesis shows that annual returns and risks are the most important attributes for fund decisions followed, by the investment field ranging from environmentally friendly to environmentally harmful. The thesis also shows that a three-way interaction between priming by an “organic offer”, rule-based mindsets and environmental values is associated with a higher likelihood for carbon offsetting.    «

Die Ergebnisse der Dissertation zeigen, dass Normen hinsichtlich eines Beitrags zum Pariser Klimaabkommen den Kohlenstoffausgleich, den Verbrauch von lokalen Lebensmitteln und Ökostrom positiv beeinflussen. Darüber hinaus zeigt die Arbeit, dass Jahresrenditen und Risiken die wichtigsten Attribute für Fondsentscheidungen sind, gefolgt vom Investitionsfeld, das von umweltfreundlich bis umweltschädlich reicht. Die Dissertation zeigt auch, dass eine Drei-Wege-Interaktion zwischen "Priming" durch ein "BIO-Angebot", regelbasierten Denkweisen und Umweltwerten mit einer höheren Wahrscheinlichkeit für den Kohlenstoffausgleich verbunden ist.     «
