Title:
Two-Dimensional FDTD and TLM
Abstract:
Applying the method of moments to Maxwell's equations, Yee's two-dimensional FDTD scheme with central difference approximations and the two-dimensional TLM method are dervied from first principles of field theory. By comparing the eigenvalues of the two methods, the differences between two-dimensional FDTD and TLM are illustrated.
