The research presented in this dissertation has practically and numerically analyzed the influence of track quality parameters including track geometry, track stiffness and damping to the performance of vehicle-track interaction by online data from field measurement and co-simulation models of Finite-Element-Method (FEM) and Multi-Body-Simulation (MBS). An innovative track quality evaluation method is introduced with the help of Energy Spectral Density (ESD) distribution of the simulated dynamic wheel load.
