At the Hardegg estate in Austria, first sie-specific yield measurements were recorded in 1989 using a Claas combine harvester with a Claydon Yield-o-Meter cell wheel sensor for corn harvesting.
As no sensor was available for location recording, data were assigned as average yields per trac.
This resulted in the first yield mapping from a combine harvester for field ' Stadelbreite' in strip design as part of a Seminar paper (see Link).
Thanks to the excellent cooperation between Landtechnik Weihenstephan and the Hardegg estate management in Austria, yield data was collected in 1990 at the “ Foersterwiese” for corn harvest.
The measurement data collected there was then used in 1991 to compile the yield data using ArcInfo® (ESRI) in German (Raster) and in English (Grid size):
Yield map Hardegg Foersterwiese 1990 5 m Raster or 5 m Grid size
Yield map Hardegg Foersterwiese 1990 12 m Raster or 12 m Grid size
Yield map Hardegg Foersterwiese 1990 24 m Raster or 24 m Grid size
Yield map Hardegg Foersterwiese 1990 50 m Raster or 50 m Grid size
