- Abstract:
- Ziel dieser Studie ist der Vergleich der Wirksamkeit von intravitrealem Triamcinolon und Bevacizumab in der Behandlung von Makulaödemen bei Patienten mit retinalen Venenverschlüssen. Die vorliegende retrospektive Studie veranschaulicht die kurzfristige Wirksamkeit beider Medikamente auf die zentrale Netzhautdicke. Die gemessene Reduktion der zentralen Netzhautdicke korreliert jedoch nicht mit einem signifikanten Visusgewinn.

- The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy of intravitreal triamcinolone versus bevacizumab in the treatment of macular edema caused by retinal vein occlusion. The present retrospective study demonstrates the short-term efficacy of both treatments concerning central macular thickness. However, this reduction of macular edema does not correlate with a significant gain of visual acuity.
