- The INFAT-Study (The impact of nutritional fatty acids on infant adipose tissue development) is a randomized controlled trial about the influence of reducing the n-6/n-3 fatty acid ratio in maternal diet during pregnancy and lactation on infat adipose tissue development. Aim of this dissertation is to characterize the energy and nutrient intake of the study participants and to examine the effect on anthropometric parameters of the children and the maternal weight gain during pregnancy.
